During our Board and Train program in Newberg, your dog lives and works with our two head dog trainers at the Empowered Canine Solutions training studio every day for the desired amount of time (1 week, 2 week, or 3 week).

Your dog will learn rules, structure and obedience in real-world environments that will help unleash the best in your dog. This is unlike any other board & train program out there. The difference? Your dog learns practical skills that translate to your home environment. After each day you get a detailed description of what your dog learned with a chance to practice at home right away. We take extensive video of your dog’s skills for your educational purpose and to give you peace of mind knowing that your dog is safe while in our care.

Our individualized dog training programs address all forms of unwanted or unsafe problem behavior, including, but not limited to:

  • All forms of Aggression

  • Leash Reactivity

  • All forms of Anxiety

  • Separation Anxiety

  • Fear based behaviors

  • Resource Guarding

  • Excessive barking, biting, nipping

  • Counter surfing or jumping

Behaviors and cues your dog will learn:

  • Heeling on leash (eliminate pulling, barking)

  • Sit-stay

  • Down-stay

  • Come / Recall

  • Place

  • Out (drop it)

  • Crate training

  • Meal time etiquette

  • Doorway etiquette

* Training goals are highly personalized to each dog. The above list may vary based on your dog's needs.

  • After the program, there are two follow-up sessions designed to help ensure your dog’s training continues at home, where it is critical you remain consistent to maximize the program’s results.

  • Pick up and drop off assistance!

  • In-studio training and total immersion in our training program

  • One-on-one personalized attention with a maximum of 3 dogs per session

  • Updates throughout the week including multiple pictures and videos

  • Phone and email support during and after the program
